The first football team of Al Ahly Club arrived at Cairo International Airport after their encounter against Ghanaian side Medeama SC in the fifth round of matches in Group D of the CAF Champions League.
Al Ahly managed to secure a 1-0 victory against Medeama SC on Friday evening at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, Ghana.
Hussein El Shahat scored the solitary goal for Al Ahly in the 48th minute, assisted by both Taher Mohamed and Amr El Solia.
With this triumph, Al Ahly extends their lead in Group D to 9 points in the CAF Champions League, positioning themselves favorably for the quarter-finals ahead of their upcoming match against Young Africans SC in Cairo in the sixth and final round of the group stage.
