In response to persistent rumors suggesting discord between him and fellow striker Papis Demba Cissé, Demba Bâ, the Chelsea and Senegal Lions player, categorically denied any such issues in an interview with the sports daily Stades this Monday.
When asked about the alleged impossibility of cohabitation due to an ego problem between him and Papis Cissé, Demba Bâ promptly dismissed the notion, stating, “I’m going to really tell you what’s going on between Papiss and me. What happens is that, I don’t know if it was a journalist or a third person who started having fun to say that there is a problem.”
He further explained, “I don’t know where this information came from. But I’ll never tell you in the world I’ve had any problems with Papis. We played together for twelve months. We got along well the entire time we lived together.”
Addressing the current situation, Demba Bâ emphasized, “If today people say that there is a problem between us, I tell you that this is not the case.” He even suggested, “We must ask Papis the question, but I believe that at his level also I know the answer in advance: he will say the same thing, it is not the case.” This straightforward response aims to dispel any misconceptions about their relationship and reaffirm the positive rapport they shared during their time playing together.
