Those absent from Al-Ahly’s trip to Ghana include Mohamed El-Shenawy, Khaled Abdelfattah, Ahmed Abdelkader, Mahmoud Kahraba, Marwan Attia, Aliou Dieng, Mohamed El-Shennawy, Kristo, Ahmed Nabil Kouka, Mahmoud Metwally, Omar Kamal, and Mahmoud El-Zanfali.
The Ghanaian duo, Samuel Obeng from MSK Zilina and Rindorf Adom Sarbaah from Chita, signed contracts with Al-Ahly for four and a half seasons.
