The board of the Egyptian Football Association convened today, Wednesday, February 21, 2024. The meeting was marked by felicitations extended to Gamal Allam, the Chairman of the Board, following his victory in assuming the presidency of the North African Football Union.
Here are the highlights of the decisions made during the meeting chaired by Gamal Allam:
- Approval of Contracts for Egypt’s Coaching Staff: The contracts of Egypt’s national team coaching staff, led by head coach Hossam Hassan and team manager Ibrahim Hassan, were ratified.
- Approval of Salary for Alaa Nabil: Approval was granted for the salary of Alaa Nabil, the technical director of the Egyptian Football Association.
- Discussion of Future Plans: The proposal presented by Alaa Nabil, the technical director of the Egyptian Football Association, outlining plans for the upcoming period was discussed.
- Training Camp for Futsal National Team: It was agreed to organize a training camp for Egypt’s futsal national team during the upcoming Ramadan and to travel to Morocco to participate in the African Nations Futsal Cup.
- Training Camp for U-17 National Team: Approval was given for a training camp for Egypt’s U-17 national team, born in 2005, and to participate in a friendly tournament in Algeria.
- Training Camp for U-14 National Team: It was agreed to organize a training camp for Egypt’s U-14 national team, born in 2008, and to play two friendly matches in Egypt.
