Nantes, heading to the Vélodrome to face Olympique de Marseille (OM), is just one point behind OM in the standings. Both teams have had similar trajectories, with Nantes bouncing back from two consecutive defeats with a 2-1 victory against VA. For the match against OM, coach Michel Der Zakarian has called upon Ismaël Bangoura, the Guinean striker who returned to lead Nantes’ attack. Bangoura has made progress since the start of the season, gradually reintegrating into the squad and making his debut during the match against Bordeaux. The 28-year-old player recently extended his contract with FC Nantes until June 2015.
