Claude Le Roy, at the age of 65, has been appointed as the new coach of Congo. Signing a two-year contract with the Red Devils, he expressed the challenge ahead, aiming to qualify for the CAN 2015 in Morocco and win the Gold medal at the African Games in Brazzaville in July 2015. Le Roy has extensive coaching experience, having previously managed countries such as the DRC, Cameroon, Senegal, and Ghana. He is set to take office on January 3, assisted by Sébastien Migné and two Congolese assistants.
