Emmanuel Adebayor, the author of just 45 minutes of play this season, finds himself in a challenging situation at Tottenham and is not optimistic about overcoming it. Despite being offered a chance to play due to the inefficiency of the team’s primary striker, Roberto Soldado, Adebayor faces another setback.
According to the Spurs official website, Adebayor will not be participating in the upcoming Premier League match against Fulham at White Hart Lane this Wednesday. The reason cited is a knee injury sustained during Monday’s training session, following his exclusion from the group that faced Manchester United (2-2). Andre Villas-Boas, the manager, confirmed Adebayor as the sole addition to the injured list, alongside Eriksen, Danny Rose, and Harry Kane.
The announcement does not provide information regarding the expected duration of Adebayor’s absence. Having played only one match since the beginning of the season, Adebayor retains the option to determine his future, especially with the winter transfer window approaching.
