Despite his recent struggles, Laurent Blanc expressed his commitment to providing opportunities to all players in the PSG squad. Javier Pastore, who had not met expectations so far in the season, was given another chance in the starting lineup for the clash against Lyon, replacing Matuidi. Notably, the attacking trio of Ibrahimovic, Cavani, and Lucas remained in the lineup.
