In the recent clash between Marseille and Montpellier (2-0) in the opening match of the 15th day of Ligue 1, Jacques Alaixys Romao received a yellow card in the final moments of the game. As a result, the Togolese international midfielder will be suspended for Marseille’s upcoming trip to Lyon.
Romao had almost succeeded in avoiding any cautions until the last minutes of the match, but an unconventional intervention led to the referee issuing a yellow card. Consequently, the former Lorient player will miss the match at Gerland on December 15.
However, Romao will be available for the matches against Lille and Nantes.
