Former Red Devils captain Delvin Ndinga has embarked on a coaching journey, officially joining the technical staff of AJ Auxerre’s U17 squad. The 34-year-old Congolese midfielder is actively preparing for the upcoming session of the Football Coaching Certificate, signaling a significant step towards a new chapter in his football career.
While still maintaining an active presence within the Red Devils, Ndinga has initiated his coaching endeavors at AJ Auxerre.
The seasoned midfielder expressed his intent to transition towards a coaching role, emphasizing his commitment to personal and professional growth despite not formally announcing his retirement from playing.
Ndinga shared insights into his multifaceted engagement, stating, “I am looking more towards my career change even if I have not yet announced my retirement.
I am preparing for the next session of the BEF (football coaching certificate). I approached the AJA and asked if I could do my coaching diplomas here. They opened the door for me.”
Currently, Ndinga is actively involved with the national U17s under the guidance of Jean-Sébastien Jaurès. Simultaneously, he received invitations from seasoned figures in French football, Guy Roux and Bernard David, expressing their interest in having him contribute on the field for the R1 team, which faces a challenging ranking.
