Tunisian coach Nassif Al Bayawi has announced his resignation from coaching Algeria’s football club, JS Saoura, following the team’s draw against Mouloudia Oran with a score of 1-1 in the 17th round of the Algerian Professional Football League.
Al Bayawi was appointed as the new coach of JS Saoura at the end of November last year, succeeding Sherif Hadjar, the former coach who left his position.
This isn’t Al Bayawi’s first stint with JS Saoura, as the 46-year-old previously coached the team at the beginning of last season.
However, his tenure lasted only four rounds before he was forced to leave for personal reasons.
JS Saoura currently occupies the 11th position in the league table with 23 points.
Al Bayawi’s coaching career has seen him lead several Saudi clubs, with Al-Shoalah being the most recent before signing with Bahrain’s Al-Muharraq and subsequently the Algerian club.
Among the notable clubs he has managed are Hajer, Al-Fateh, Al-Raed, Al-Qadsiah, and Al-Adalah.
Al Bayawi’s departure comes amid a mixed season for JS Saoura, and his resignation underscores the challenges faced by coaches in the demanding world of football management.
The search for his replacement will undoubtedly be closely watched by fans and stakeholders alike as the club looks to navigate the remainder of the season and achieve its objectives.
