Algeria is gearing up for a strong performance at the upcoming World Cup in Brazil. The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) is sending a delegation, including coach Vahid Halilhodzic, to Brazil next week. The primary objectives are to attend FIFA workshops explaining the organization of the competition and to participate in the draw for the World Cup, scheduled for December 6.
The delegation, consisting of the coach, president of the national teams committee Walid Sadi, FAF vice-president Djahid Zefef, and physical trainer Cyril Moine, will be actively involved in the draw process. FAF president Mohamed Raouraoua, also a member of the FIFA World Cup organizing committee, will be present.
Once the draw determines Algeria’s group, opponents, and match locations, the delegation will commence the task of choosing the team’s base camp. This decision will influence the preparation and planning of friendly matches in 2014, as the Algerian national team aims to make a significant impact in the tournament.
