Didier Drogba has been named Man of the Year by GQ magazine in Turkey. This recognition adds to his achievements, including being voted Sportsman of the Year in February. Drogba, who plays for Galatasaray, is not only celebrated for his football prowess but also for his humanitarian efforts, including commitments to peace in Africa and his appointment as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador. The Ivorian striker is also nominated for CAF’s “Best African Player 2013.”
