TP Mazembe, the Congolese club, faced a setback in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup against CS Sfaxien, losing 0-2 in Radès. Didier Ndong and Khenissi scored the two goals for the Tunisian team. Despite the defeat, coach Ruud Krol and club owner Moïse Katumbi expressed confidence in their team and urged fans to remain supportive. Katumbi declared that losing a battle doesn’t mean losing the war and affirmed their commitment to playing for the Cup to stay in Congo.
