Thirty-one Ghanaian players have been selected to begin preparations for the Women’s Can Cup hosted by South Africa in 2014. The selected players, representing elite clubs from the Ghana Women’s Championship, will report to the Training Center for preparations. The Black Queens, Ghana’s national women’s football team, will face Burkina Faso in the tournament. The first legs are scheduled between February 13-15, 2014, with return legs two weeks later. The squad includes players from various clubs, such as Police, Immigration, Fabulous Ladies, Hasaacas Ladies, Ashtown Ladies, Reformers Ladies, Faith Ladies, Lady Strikers, Ideal Ladies, Atlanta Ladies, Oforikrom Ladies, and Intellectuals.
