The coach Walid Regragui has revealed plans for significant changes within the squad after Morocco’s elimination from the Africa Cup of Nations in the round of 16.
Speaking as a guest on the “Exclusive Interview” program aired by Al Riyadiya channel, Regragui stated, “There will be changes in the coaching staff and among the players as well.”
“We have a month before the international break in March, so we will evaluate the situation to strengthen both the team and the staff,” he added.
Morocco’s exit from AFCON 2023 at the hands of Tunisia in the knockout stage prompted discussions about the team’s performance and future direction.
Regragui’s comments suggest a proactive approach to addressing any shortcomings and revitalizing the squad ahead of upcoming challenges.
