Doria Tillier, the weather presenter for Canal+, promised to do her weather forecast naked if France qualified for the 2014 World Cup. As France achieved the feat by overturning a 2-0 deficit against Ukraine, Tillier kept her word. However, instead of appearing on air completely naked, she did the forecast from the small French village of Poil, playing on the double entendre of the village’s name, which means “naked” in French. It appears to be a playful and humorous way of fulfilling her promise without actually exposing herself on television.
