It’s not a common sight to see an entire national football team using public transportation, especially considering the security measures typically in place for high-profile athletes. However, on Monday evening, after training at Wembley Stadium in preparation for their friendly against England, the entire German national football team surprised many by opting to take the London Underground instead of their usual team bus. The German Football Federation captured the moment and shared a photo of the players on the Tube on its Twitter account.
