According to a survey by Africa Top Sports.com, the majority of respondents from Africa do not believe that France will qualify for the 2014 World Cup. France needed to beat Ukraine by at least three goals without conceding after losing 0-2 in the first leg. The survey reflects skepticism about France’s chances among the African audience, which has already seen Ivory Coast, Nigeria, and Cameroon qualify for the World Cup. The survey also highlights the attention given to other matches involving African teams, such as Algeria vs. Burkina Faso and Ghana vs. Egypt.
