The Minister of Youth and Sports, Tarek Dhiab, and the president of the Tunisian Football Federation, Wadii Jarii, are engaged in a dispute over the travel arrangements for journalists covering the Cameroon-Tunisia match in the play-offs for the Brazil 2014 World Cup. The football authority set the ticket price at two thousand dinars (approximately 890.06 euros), arguing it aims to accommodate more journalists by changing to a larger plane. However, journalists rejected this proposal, leaving the decision to the minister. Tarek Dhiab has decided to cover all the costs of the journalists’ trip and charter a special plane for their transportation, ensuring they can attend the match free of charge.
