Ruud Krol has been appointed as the coach of the Tunisian national football team, replacing Nabil Maaloul. There were rumors about Krol also joining Espérance Sportive de Tunis, but the president of Sfaxien, Naceur Bedoui, has denied any such agreement. According to Bedoui, Krol has a moral contract with Sfaxien, and there are doubts about him joining EST while still being on duty with his current club and the national team. Krol is currently focused on qualifying Sfaxien for the 2014 World Cup.
