Former Netherlands and AC Milan playmaker Ruud Gullit is currently in Tunisia with his former teammate, Moroccan Tarek Sektioui, to participate in a training seminar for coaches of the Ligue 1 and 2 championships.
Gullit shared his thoughts on the upcoming match between Cameroon and Tunisia on November 17. He expressed his belief that the Indomitable Lions remain favorites for qualification. Gullit emphasized that he knows many of the Cameroonian players and finds it unlikely that they would let the opportunity slip away. While he admitted not having an in-depth understanding of the Tunisian squad, he provided tactical advice to Tunisia’s coach, Ruud Krol.
Gullit suggested adopting a strategy to avoid conceding a goal in the first half-hour, as the Cameroonian players might be eager to secure an early lead. He believes that over time, the players might lose concentration, creating an opportunity for Tunisia to make a difference.
