USM Alger will face Mamelodi Sundowns in the African Super Cup final on Sunday, with both sides aiming to add another continental trophy to their honours.
The match will kick off at 14:00 French time and 14:00 Algerian time at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria, South Africa.
It will be broadcast live in France on beIN Sports Max 5 and in Algeria on beIN Sports 2 MENA.
USM Alger qualified for the final after winning the CAF Confederation Cup, while Mamelodi Sundowns earned their place as winners of the CAF Champions League.
Both clubs are seeking a second African Super Cup triumph. USM Alger are appearing in the final for only the second time in their history and will be looking to return to the top of African football after their sole success in the competition in 2023.
Mamelodi Sundowns are also back in the final after winning the trophy in 2017. However, the match carries an added significance for the South African side, who are attempting to rescue their African campaign after a surprise failure to qualify for the CAF Champions League.
The Pretoria-based club were eliminated in the second preliminary round by Angolan side Wiliete.
Previous meetings
This will be the first time USM Alger and the Yellow, Blue and Green have met in an African Super Cup final.
The teams did face each other in the group stage of the CAF Champions League in 2020. Mamelodi Sundowns won both matches, securing a 1-0 victory in Algiers before recording a 2-1 success in Pretoria.
USM Alger will therefore be seeking a different outcome when the two sides meet again, while Mamelodi Sundowns will hope their previous record against their Algerian opponents can help them claim another continental title.
