Bayern Munich linked with Monaco forward Paris Brunner
German and DR Congo forward Paris Brunner is being linked with a move from Monaco to FC Bayern, with the rumour assigned a 29% probability.
The 20-year-old centre-forward has scored four goals in seven Ligue 1 appearances for Monaco this season, starting 78% of the club’s matches and contributing 33% of their goals. He has also made three appearances in the UEFA Conference League, scoring twice and providing one assist.
Brunner joined Monaco from Borussia Dortmund’s Under-19 side in August 2024 for €4m. He spent part of that season on loan at Cercle Brugge before returning to Monaco in June 2025.
His form has helped push his current market value to €15m, although any potential move would involve a player who remains under contract with the Ligue 1 club until 30 June 2028. Monaco’s decision on whether to consider an approach would therefore be a central factor in any transfer discussions.
Brunner’s record at youth level includes winning the 2023 Under-17 World Cup and European Under-17 Championship with Germany. He was also named the Fritz Walter Medal winner in 2023 and finished as the second-highest scorer in the 2023-24 German Under-19 Bundesliga West campaign with 20 goals.
For now, Brunner remains a Monaco player, where he wears squad number 29 and has established a regular role in the club’s attack.
