The champion of the 2012-2013 Togolese football season will be decided this Sunday on the 30th day of the competition. Two key matches draw attention, particularly the clash in Womé between Maranatha and AS Douanes de Lomé.
The focus is on AS Douanes, currently second in the standings, just two points behind the leaders, Anges FC of Notsè (56 points), who face TAC (Tchaoudjo Athletic Club) in Sokodé, a team already relegated. Anges FC needs only a draw to secure the title, while AS Douanes requires a victory while hoping for a loss by the leaders.
In case of a twist in the scenario, the Togolese Football Federation (FTF) has contingency plans in place. Two ceremonies are scheduled in Womé and Sokodé.
However, two of the scheduled matches may not take place on this final day. Semassi has already confirmed their boycott due to unpaid subsidies. The Shooting Star, absent in the previous round, is expected to follow suit.
Here are the fixtures for the last day:
- KEGUE: DYTO vs. GOMIDO
- SOKODE: TAC vs. ANGELS
- SM LOME: AS TG PORT vs. AGAZA
- WOME: MARANATHA vs. AS CUSTOMS
- THE LIFE: KOTOKO vs. ASKO
- BASSAR: GBIKINTI vs. SEMASSI
- DAPAONG: FOADAN vs. UNISPORT
- AGOE: STAR vs. KOROKI
