PSV Eindhoven host Club Bruges at the Philips Stadion on Wednesday, 4 November 2026, with both sides preparing for their fourth match in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League.
PSV manager Peter Bosz is expected to make only limited changes to the side that defeated Willem II 7-0 last weekend. Sven Mijnans could lead the attack, while Ricardo Pepi may have to settle for a place among the substitutes as he continues his return from injury.
Matej Kovar is set to start in goal for the Dutch side. Sergino Dest, Lutsharel Geertruida, Armando Obispo and Filip Kostic are likely to form the defence.
Kodai Sano and Mauro Junior are expected to provide the midfield platform, with Guus Til operating further forward. Ivan Perisic and Ruben van Bommel could start in the wide attacking positions alongside Mijnans.
PSV will be without several players for the match. Jerdy Schouten, Paul Wanner, Adamo Nagalo, Sami Ouaissa, Alassane Plea and Sam Lammers are either unavailable or have not recovered sufficiently to feature.
Club Bruges are also expected to retain much of their regular starting XI under manager Ivan Leko, with Nicolo Tresoldi set to play as the central striker. Defender Joel Ordonez is ruled out.
Yann Sommer should be in goal, with Kyriani Sabbe, Jorne Spileers and Brandon Mechele expected to start in defence. Bjorn Meijer or Joaquin Seys could complete the back four.
Hugo Vetlesen and Hans Vanaken are expected to feature in midfield. Carlos Forbs, Jan Virgili and Tresoldi are likely to lead the attacking threat, while the predicted line-up also includes Potts alongside Vanaken in the central midfield positions.
