AS Monaco host FC Nordsjaelland on Thursday as both sides look to maintain their unbeaten starts to the UEFA Conference League league phase.
The third-round fixture takes place at Stade Louis II on 5 November 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 20:00 GMT. Monaco have won their opening two matches in the competition and are aiming for a third successive victory, while the Danish club have drawn both of their games so far.
The match will be a first meeting between the two teams. Neither Monaco nor FC Nordsjaelland have previously faced a club from the other country in European competition.
Contrasting domestic form
Monaco’s European record contrasts with their recent struggles in Ligue 1. Filipe Luis’ side have gone four league matches without a win, recording two draws and two defeats, including a 3-1 loss to Paris FC last weekend.
They have been far more impressive in Europe, however, with their latest result a convincing 3-0 victory over Fribourg. Monaco are also unbeaten at home this season and will look to extend that run against FC Nordsjaelland.
The visitors have had difficulty producing consistent results of their own, managing only one victory since mid-September. They remain unbeaten in the Conference League after two draws, although they were beaten 3-2 by Midtjylland in their most recent match.
FC Nordsjaelland can draw encouragement from their performances away from home in European competition as they attempt to withstand the challenge posed by Monaco.
