The “Génération Foot” training center in Dakar, Senegal, known for producing many Senegalese football talents, is undergoing restructuring. Former residents of the center, including Babacar Gueye, Sadio Mané, and Diafra Sakho, who now play for Shenzhen Ruby (China), Red Bull Salzburg (Austria), and FC Metz (France), respectively, have each contributed 75 million CFA francs to support the renovation.
The new facilities aim to accommodate future residents and include playing areas to contribute to the training of the next generation of African football talent. Since its establishment in 2003, “Génération Foot” has trained over 80 footballers, many of whom now play for European clubs.
