However, with only three points ahead of the first relegated team, Sassuolo, Livorno is not entirely out of danger. They hope to secure at least a point in their trip to Lombardy, although it appears challenging given Inter’s current form.
Ranked 14th, Livorno has faced a tough start to the season. Innocent Emeghara, who joined the club last summer, expresses confidence in the team’s ability to avoid relegation. “It’s going to be difficult… But we’ve had two good matches in a row, and we’re finally playing as a team,” says the Swiss-Nigerian forward. He hopes to contribute to the team’s success against Inter and end his goal drought. “I hope to score against Inter! I’m going to do everything I can because I haven’t scored a goal since my double on the first day… And that weighs on the morale of an attacker!”
