Anicet Oura and Rushine De Reuck inspire Simba comeback win

Former Premier Soccer League players Anicet Oura and Rushine De Reuck scored as Simba recovered from a half-time deficit to beat Namungo 3-2 on Monday.

Simba made the ideal start when a former Stellenbosch FC winger put the hosts ahead after four minutes. Namungo responded strongly, with Raymond Lulendi scoring twice in the space of seven minutes to turn the match around.

Lulendi struck in the 36th and 43rd minutes, leaving Simba trailing at the interval.

Steve Barker’s side returned after the break and eventually reclaimed control through two late goals. De Reuck, formerly of Mamelodi Sundowns, brought Simba level from the penalty spot in the 80th minute.

Oura then completed the comeback by scoring the winning goal in the 89th minute.

The result extended Simba’s winning start in the Premier League to 10 games. They have also now gone 36 matches unbeaten in all competitions.
