Jeremy Doku tops Premier League dribbling charts after impressive start to 2026/27 season
Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku has emerged as the Premier League’s leading dribbler after the opening nine matchdays of the 2026/27 campaign.
The Belgian international has completed 24 successful dribbles in the competition, placing him ahead of Hull City’s Mohamed Belloumi and Tottenham Hotspur’s Mohamed Kudus, who are tied in second place with 21 each.
Doku’s numbers are particularly impressive considering his limited involvement. The 24-year-old has featured in five Premier League matches, accumulating 309 minutes, while recording one goal and one assist.
He scored during Manchester City’s 3-0 victory over Liverpool after coming off the bench and provided an assist in their 3-2 win against Ipswich Town.
The winger missed part of the opening period of the campaign through a calf injury but has since returned to action and quickly demonstrated his importance to Enzo Maresca’s attacking system.
His ability to beat defenders in one-on-one situations has once again made him one of City’s most dangerous attacking outlets.
Doku has also received a major boost off the pitch after signing a new five-year contract extension with Manchester City, keeping him at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2031.
With his pace, close control and dribbling ability, Doku will be looking to maintain his impressive form and remain at the top of the league’s dribbling statistics as the season progresses.
