At 21, Sunderland midfielder and DR Congo international Noah Sadiki is already attracting significant attention across the European transfer market.

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Sadiki is being monitored by Juventus, Napoli, Newcastle, Atletico de Madrid and Liverpool after a series of impressive performances in the Premier League.

The midfielder has become an important part of Sunderland’s team, with his work-rate in the middle of the pitch and consistency underlining his growing influence. His displays have also strengthened his reputation as one of the most promising young midfielders in the English top flight.

That interest could lead to a major contest for his signature during the next transfer windows. Sadiki remains under a long-term contract with Sunderland and is valued at around €40m, meaning the club’s directors are not expected to let him leave cheaply.

Born in Brussels, Sadiki could therefore become the subject of an increasingly competitive pursuit, with several clubs among Europe’s leading sides reportedly considering an approach.

It remains to be seen which of Juventus, Napoli, Newcastle, Atletico de Madrid or Liverpool will make the first move for the Sunderland midfielder.
