Hansi Flick’s Barcelona century sets new milestone, but Luis Enrique remains quickest

Hansi Flick recorded his 100th win as Barcelona manager in only his 131st official match after his side thrashed Deportivo Alaves 6-1 in La Liga.

The result, achieved in the 11th round of the Spanish top flight, marked a significant landmark for Flick and continued his rapid impact at the Catalan club.

Flick’s 100 victories have come across three seasons. He delivered 44 wins in each of the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 campaigns, before adding 12 more victories in 14 official matches during the current 2026-2027 season.

His record also includes 21 defeats and 10 draws. That gives him a win rate of about 76.3%, while Barcelona have avoided defeat in approximately 84% of the matches played under his management.

The German’s team have made an especially strong start to the current campaign. Barcelona have won 12 of their 14 matches and scored 48 goals, averaging more than three goals per game.

Their attacking form has also produced several emphatic victories, including a number of 5-0 wins against their opponents. They also scored seven times against Racing de Santander.

Barcelona have suffered only two defeats this season. One came against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and the other against Real Madrid in La Liga. The emphatic victory over Deportivo Alaves allowed Flick’s side to respond immediately and restore their momentum.

Despite reaching the 100-win mark, Flick has not broken Barcelona’s record for reaching the milestone fastest. That honour still belongs to Luis Enrique, who achieved it after 126 matches.

Pep Guardiola reached 100 victories in 139 games, meaning Flick’s total places him between the two former Barcelona managers in the club’s historical rankings.

Luis Enrique also finished with the strongest overall record among the three. He ended his time in charge having won 138 of his 181 matches with Barcelona.

The club’s fixture listings also include Anaitasuna in the Copa del Rey on 03 November 2026, while Aston Villa are listed as a Champions League opponent on the same date.
