Cameroon prepare for November AFCON qualifiers against Namibia

Cameroon will face Namibia twice during the November international break as the Indomitable Lions look to strengthen their position at the top of Group G in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Cameroonian national team currently lead the group with four points from their opening two matches and will be aiming to maintain their advantage with two important encounters against Namibia.

The double-header will see the two sides meet twice within four days, presenting Cameroon with an opportunity to move closer to securing qualification for the continental tournament.

The first meeting is scheduled for 11 November 2026, with Cameroon hosting Namibia at 18:00. The Indomitable Lions will then travel for the return fixture on 15 November, with kick-off also set for 18:00.

Both matches are expected to play an important role in determining the Group G standings, with Cameroon looking to create some distance between themselves and their closest challengers.

Comoros and Namibia remain among the teams competing for the leading positions in the group, making the upcoming fixtures particularly important for the Indomitable Lions.

With four points already collected from two matches, Cameroon have made a positive start to their qualifying campaign. However, the coaching staff and players will understand the importance of maintaining their consistency across both encounters.

The two games against Namibia will provide Cameroon with an opportunity to strengthen their grip on the group and take another important step towards qualification for the 2027 AFCON.

Cameroonian supporters will be hoping their national team can make the most of the November fixtures and deliver the results needed to keep their qualification ambitions on track.
