Shortly after Rolland Courbis departed, USM Alger swiftly secured a replacement. Hubert Velud, a compatriot of Courbis, has been officially appointed as the new coach for the Algiers club. The announcement of Velud’s arrival was made on Tuesday.
Hubert Velud, who previously coached the Togo national football team, achieved success by guiding ES Sétif to the Algerian championship title last season. He has now signed with USMA until the end of the current season. His appointment comes with the aim of bringing new leadership and strategic direction to the team.
