There has been a change of plans for Ghana’s Black Stars. Initially scheduled to hold their training camp in Ethiopia in preparation for the return match of the play-offs against Egypt, the team will now conduct their preparations in Turkey. This announcement was made on Tuesday by the Ghana Football Federation (GFA) through its website.
“Despite initial plans to prepare in Ethiopia, the players will be training in Turkey from November 11,” the statement reads. No specific reasons were provided to explain the shift in the training location. Ghana, having already disclosed its roster, is set to arrive in Cairo on November 18 to face the Pharaohs the following day at the Air Defense Stadium.
In the first leg, Asamoah Gyan and his teammates demonstrated dominance over Bob Bradley’s men.
