Pyramids strike twice in first half to take control against Talaea El Gaish

Pyramids took an early lead against Tala’ea El Gaish in Egyptian League week seven after defensive mistakes handed Mustafa Abdelraouf Zico and Mohannad Lasheen goals.

Zico opened the scoring when a misplaced pass from Emad El Sayed fell to him, allowing the Pyramids forward to finish into an unguarded net.

Pyramids continued to lead after 15 minutes of play, with Tala’ea El Gaish struggling to recover from the early setback.

Lasheen then doubled the advantage from a corner. A delivery into the penalty area reached the midfielder, who diverted the ball into the net with his knee beyond the reach of the Tala’ea El Gaish goalkeeper.

Pyramids also threatened from open play when Mohamed El Shibi sent a cross into the area for Youssef Obama, whose header went wide of the goal.

Another Pyramids corner was dealt with by Ahmed Abdelrahman, who successfully cleared the danger.
