Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet” has been named in Riyadh’s starting line-up for their Saudi League meeting with Diriyah on Tuesday.
The match forms part of the competition’s 10th round, with Riyadh looking to build on the Egypt international’s decisive contribution in their previous game against Al Feiha.
Trezeguet began that match on the bench after recently recovering from an injury. He was introduced as a substitute and scored a late equaliser to earn Riyadh a point.
His return to the starting XI comes as Riyadh host Diriyah in a meeting between two sides separated by three points in the table. Riyadh are 12th with nine points, while Diriyah occupy eighth place with 12 points.
Trezeguet joined Riyadh at the start of the current season after reaching a mutual agreement to end his contract with Al Ahly.
Since moving to the club in the summer, the former Al Ahly player has made seven appearances for Riyadh in all competitions. He has scored two goals and provided two assists.
