Stephen Keshi, staying true to his routine, is the first coach to unveil his list of players well before the major deadlines. This Sunday, he revealed a list of 25 players for the upcoming games of the Super Eagles.
First on the agenda is the return leg of the 2014 World Cup play-off against Ethiopia on November 16. Nigeria won the first leg 2-1, thanks to a double by Emenike, and they aim to confirm their success in Calabar. Following the outcome of the qualification for Brazil, the Super Eagles will face Italy in a friendly match on November 18 in Fulham.
Notable returns to the squad include Kenneth Omeruo and Gabriel Reuben, who were sidelined due to injuries in the national team’s previous outings.
