Al Ain and Shabab Al Ahli Dubai to contest UAE Super Cup on 29 November

The UAE Pro League has confirmed that the UAE Super Cup between Al Ain and Shabab Al Ahli Dubai will be played on 29 November at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

The fixture will renew the contest between Al Ain defender Rami Rabia and Shabab Al Ahli Dubai winger Juan Bizerra, the former Zamalek player.

The two sides met in the UAE league only a few days ago, with Shabab Al Ahli Dubai securing a 2-0 victory in the sixth round.

Serdar Azmoun put Shabab Al Ahli Dubai ahead in first-half stoppage time, scoring in the 45+1st minute. Kawan Santos then doubled their advantage after converting a pass from Bizerra.

Bizerra came on as a substitute in the 13th minute and provided the assist for the second goal before being withdrawn in the 66th minute because of injury.

Rami Rabia, who plays for Al Ain and represents Egypt, completed the match and was booked.

The win lifted Shabab Al Ahli Dubai to 13 points and sent them to the top of the league table on goal difference, ahead of Al Ain, Al Jazira and Al Wasl.
