Mamelodi Sundowns begin their bid for back-to-back CAF Champions League titles against Wiliete SC in the second preliminary round first leg at the Estadio Nacionale de Tundavala on Sunday.
The match kicks off at 17h00, with the African champions looking to continue a strong run of form in a successful period for the Tshwane club.
Sundowns have emerged as a major force since winning their first continental title in 2016 and will now start their latest campaign against Angolan opponents Wiliete.
The Brazilians won the FIFA African-Asian-Pacific Cup towards the end of last month before defeating Orlando Pirates to claim the MTN8 last weekend. They also lead the Betway Premiership and recorded a 4-1 victory over Richards Bay FC in midweek.
Wiliete arrive with confidence of their own after going unbeaten in their past three matches in the Girabola. They have won two and drawn one of those games, having finished runners-up to Petro de Luanda in the league last season.
The Angolan side reached the second preliminary round by overcoming Foresters FC of the Seychelles 1-0 on aggregate in the opening round.
Sundowns have named goalkeeper Goss in their starting line-up, with Ndamane, Khoza, Matuludi, Basadien, Mokoena, Allende, Santos, Matthews, Morena and Leon also selected.
Pieterse, Lunga, Rayners, Aubaas, Zwane, Cele, Van Wyk, Ndlovu and Mvala are among the substitutes.
