How to watch Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs in CAF competition

Orlando Pirates’ CAF Champions League tie against African Stars will be shown live in South Africa, while Kaizer Chiefs’ match against Red Arrows is currently not scheduled for television or streaming.

The Buccaneers face the Namibian side at the Garborone National Stadium in Botswana after African Stars were required to move the fixture from Namibia. That change gives Pirates an advantage as they look to avoid another early exit similar to last season’s defeat by St. Eloi Lupopo.

Pirates progressed after Abdeslam Ouaddou’s side beat La Cure Waves 3-1 on aggregate in the first preliminary round. African Stars reached this stage by overcoming Mangasport on the away-goals rule after their tie finished 3-3 on aggregate.

The match in Botswana will be broadcast live on SABC2 and streamed on the SABC Plus platform.

Kaizer Chiefs, meanwhile, begin their CAF campaign against Red Arrows of Zambia. Fernando Da Cruz’s team received a bye in the first preliminary round, while Red Arrows advanced with a 4-0 aggregate victory over Inate Rouge.

However, the fixture is not currently expected to be available on television or via streaming platforms in South Africa, leaving Amakhosi supporters without a confirmed local broadcast option.

Any changes to the broadcast arrangements will be provided if they become available.
