Anthony Oyono has committed his long-term future to Frosinone by signing a new contract running until 30 June 2029.
The Gabon international joined the Italian club in January 2022 from Boulogne and has since established himself as an important part of the team. His contract extension confirms Frosinone’s decision to retain the 25-year-old right-back for the coming seasons.
Oyono’s agent discussed the circumstances behind the renewal in an interview with Maghreb-Foot, shedding light on the Italian club’s decision to extend the defender’s stay.
The new agreement gives Oyono greater certainty as he prepares for the next stage of his career in Italy. His immediate focus is on helping Frosinone remain at the highest level of the national game.
Alongside his club ambitions, the Lille-born defender continues to target involvement with the Gabon national team. His performances have made him a regular figure for Frosinone since the club secured promotion to the elite division.
Oyono has maintained that progress this season. He has provided one assist in seven appearances, underlining his contribution from the right side of defence.
Frosinone’s next match is against Sassuolo in the seventh round of the Italian championship. The match odds list Frosinone at 2.25 to win, with a draw priced at 3.60 and a Sassuolo victory at 2.55.
