Desire Doue targets third straight Champions League title with PSG
Desire Doue has made Paris Saint-Germain’s ambition clear after the French champions defeated Manchester City 4-2 away from home in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old winger scored a goal and provided an assist as PSG delivered an impressive performance at the Etihad Stadium, strengthening their position as they pursue another European crown.
Speaking to CBS Sports after the match, Doue insisted that winning the Champions League for a third consecutive season remains the club’s main objective.
“We have won the Champions League two years in a row, and that is still our goal this year,” the French international said.
Doue also stressed that PSG’s ambitions must be matched by consistent work and commitment throughout the campaign.
“We are a very ambitious team, as I’ve said before, but that requires hard work every single day,” he added.
PSG have established themselves among Europe’s leading sides under Luis Enrique, winning consecutive Champions League titles in 2025 and 2026. Their latest victory over Manchester City further underlined their determination to remain at the top of European football.
For Doue, the performance also represented another encouraging moment after a challenging start to the season. His contribution against City demonstrated the attacking quality that has made him an increasingly important figure in the Parisian side.
PSG will now look to maintain their momentum as they continue their Champions League campaign, with Doue and his teammates targeting a historic third consecutive title.
