The transfer of Ruud Krol to Esperance Sportive de Tunis is currently at the rumor stage. Allegedly, negotiations have taken place between the club and the coach of Tunisia. If successful, Krol could replace Maher Kanzari, who was dismissed. Reports suggest that Krol is interested in the proposal, but he is currently focused on Tunisia’s qualification for the Brazil 2014 World Cup. Once qualification is secured, he may terminate his contract with Sportif Sfaxien, set to expire in December 2013.
However, it is noted that Aad De Mos is reportedly the preferred choice for Esperance, indicating that Krol might not be their first option.
