Algeria face Libya in a crucial Group A match at the Futsal Africa Cup of Nations 2026 on Wednesday, while hosts Morocco take on Zambia, with both fixtures being shown live for free on CAF TV.
The second round of group matches will be played on Wednesday, 14 October at the Palais des sports Prince Moulay-Abdellah in Rabat. Algeria are already under pressure after losing their opening game, while Morocco will look to strengthen their position as one of the tournament favourites.
Algeria’s meeting with Libya kicks off at 17:00 Morocco time, 18:00 in Algeria and 19:00 in France. Both sides are seeking their first points of the competition.
The Fennecs were beaten 4-0 by Morocco in their opening match, while Libya suffered a 3-1 defeat by Zambia. Algeria, who are appearing in the final tournament of the Futsal Africa Cup of Nations for the first time, face a particularly difficult situation.
Noureddine Benamrouche’s side must respond against the 2008 African champions before their final group fixture against Zambia on Friday. A second successive defeat would seriously damage Algeria’s hopes of reaching the semi-finals.
Morocco’s match against Zambia will begin at 20:00 Morocco time and 22:00 in France. The two teams currently occupy the top two positions in Group A, both with three points.
A win for either side would see them take sole control of the group and move them a significant step closer to the last four.
Morocco opened the defence of their title with a convincing 4-0 victory against Algeria. Youssef Jouad scored a hat-trick in that match as the Atlas Lions made an impressive start to the tournament.
Zambia are expected to provide a more ambitious challenge after beginning their campaign with victory over Libya. Their result against Morocco could determine which team finishes the day at the top of Group A.
Both matches will be broadcast live and free on CAF TV, the official YouTube channel of the Confederation of African Football. Morocco’s game against Zambia will also be shown on Arryadia TNT.
