Anthony Oyono has committed his future to Frosinone by signing a contract extension that will keep him at the Italian club until 30 June 2029.
Frosinone confirmed the agreement on their Instagram account, extending the deal of the 25-year-old Gabon international right-back. Oyono joined the club from US Boulogne in January 2022 and has since become an important part of their plans.
The defender played a significant role in Frosinone’s promotion to Serie A last season. He made a notable contribution in the league, scoring one goal and providing four assists as his side secured their return to Italy’s top flight.
Oyono has continued to feature regularly for Frosinone this season. He has made seven appearances in all competitions and has recorded one assist.
The new agreement underlines the confidence placed in Oyono by the club’s hierarchy and strengthens his position within Frosinone’s sporting project. It also reflects the club’s intention to retain key players as they prepare for their upcoming challenges.
Oyono, who has won 32 caps for Gabon, is valued at €2m. His importance to both club and country has grown since his move to Italy, with the contract extension securing his future at Frosinone for the next several seasons.
Frosinone’s next fixture will come against Sassuolo in the seventh round of the Italian championship.
