Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch FC confirm line-ups for Betway Premiership clash

Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch FC have announced their starting XIs for their Betway Premiership meeting at FNB Stadium this evening.

The two teams return to competitive action after three full weeks without a match, with both seeking three points in round eight.

Kaizer Chiefs have managed only one win in their past five matches, alongside four draws. However, Fernando da Cruz’s side remain unbeaten in the league this season after seven games.

Amakhosi are fourth in the table with 13 points. They have scored 12 goals, the third-highest total in the division, while conceding seven.

Stellenbosch FC’s rebuilding campaign has produced two wins, three draws and two defeats from their opening seven fixtures. The Cape Winelands club sit seventh with nine points and arrive at FNB Stadium on a three-match unbeaten run.

Stellenbosch have also enjoyed recent success at the venue, winning three of their past five visits to the Calabash. Chiefs have won the other two.

Chiefs will start with Leaner in goal, while Frosler, Cross, Miguel and Moloisane make up the defensive line. Monyane, Mako and Mthethwa are in midfield, with Shabalala, Vilakazi and Duba selected in attack.
