Bayern warn Real Madrid over Michael Olise transfer
Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has warned Real Madrid that Michael Olise will not be allowed to leave easily, despite growing interest in the French winger.
Real Madrid have followed Olise for more than a year, and the 24-year-old reportedly wanted to move to the Spanish capital last summer. Bayern, however, refused to sell and remain firm in their stance.
“Bayern is a club that does not need to sell. We make our decisions from a position of strength. Michael Olise is still under contract with us until 2029,” Hainer told Bild.
The president also expressed hope that Olise will extend his deal, while acknowledging that Real Madrid or other clubs could try to sign him.
“Whether it is Real Madrid or another club that tries to recruit him, we know how to defend ourselves,” he said.
Olise joined Bayern from Crystal Palace in 2024 for €60 million and has started the season impressively, scoring eight goals and providing four assists in eight matches. German reports estimate that a transfer could cost around €200 million.
Hainer added that Olise feels settled in Munich and believes Bayern have plenty to offer him.
