Mehdi Mostefa, the Algerian international defender for AC Ajaccio, is set to return to action for the upcoming Ligue 1 match on the 12th day against Valenciennes. Having recovered from an ankle injury, Mostefa is now operational and likely to be present on the pitch at Stade François Coty. The Algerian player sustained the injury during the Fennecs’ defeat against Burkina Faso (3-2) in the first leg of the qualifying play-offs for the 2014 World Cup on October 12 in Ouagadougou.
In addition to Mostefa, Ajaccio coach Fabrizio Ravanelli has also recovered four other injured players, including the Malian Sigamary Diarra. However, Algerian player Salim Arrache, who is dealing with hamstring issues, is expected to gradually resume training with the group next week, as stated by the official Ajaccio website.
